Rendering Anmial Fat

Now that I want to get my Bushcraft Skills on, it kills me that I threw away all of the deer tallow. As a family we took five deer this year, and helped a few others put deer in the freezer. Of course I threw away all of the fat during butchering.

Looks easy and worth the effort to try. I've been wanting to get better at using more of the deer. Making a fat lamp or soap looks like a cake walk compared to tanning a hide.

Dose any one here process the tallow on deer and put it too use?
