22LR pistol recommendations

My current 22 pistol is a Ruger 22/45. Although the I like the looks of it I am also getting kind of sick of it. It never really seems to run with out jams no matter what ammo I put thru it. I mostly use CCI.

I have to slam the mags in for them to seat. Take down and reassemble is a total PITA. Quick mag changes are impossible as the mags don't just slide in easily. I have changed the sights and took out the LCI.

I am thinking there may be better 22 pistols out there that are less problematic and easier to field strip and clean.

What is your 22 pistol and what do you like about it?
