I see a lot of 147gr listed as subsonic. I know its "not quieter" but it is quieter. It doesnt hit those sonic levels. The main reason I'm asking is for the ability or lack of to hurt mine or my family's hearing. I'm stuck between the 147gr for this reason as well as 124gr because I view it as the good middle ground between goo light or too heavy. I'm getting my glock next week and I'm looking for good answers so I know which route to go for my carry ammo. Granted end of the day it's all gonna be hst so itll do its job. Just looking for input
