I have been prepping since, well, forever. What have my preps gotten me? There have been the various hurricanes, but nothing like the Black Death of 1348.
The real question is, do we want to be prepped for when the bombs fall or when the next plague comes around?
Then there is the issue of prepping today as compared to everyday life of our grandparents. Granny use to make pear preserves and take care of the family garden. My grandfather use to have a garden every year. One uncle takes about the day when the bombs start falling.
There seems to be a difference between what my uncles and grandfather said about national security and how the everyday person lives their lives.
Is prepping a waste of time?
