Two years is a long time. It will depend on what happens with the economy, markets, wars/peace, scandals, the Mueller investigation, prosecutions of either GOP or Dems, candidates for the GOP and Dem parties, and so many other unknowns. One thing that must happen is the cleaning up of voting rolls and laws preventing illegals from voting. That wipes out huge Dem vote pools.
Me personally, I voted for him and am very pleased with his performance and would vote for him again today. I'm equally sickened at the deep state performance and the low brow behavior of the Dems and the MSM fake news who are on full assault of DJT. It's evident the deep state exists, and the Dems/MSM are in collusion to destroy the nation and seek power rather than national success and prosperity.
It's obvious that the Obama admin and agencies (FBI, DOJ, SOS) acted illegally and unethically in clearing and obstructing on the Hillary obvious criminal behavior, and propping her up for a clear path to the White House. In which case, all of those crimes would have been buried, so they acted with reckless impunity. And while simultaneously sabotaging and spying on Trump and his campaign, and setting him up almost certainly for a criminal indictment upon his loss (or even win). In doing so, they repeatedly submitted false/fabricated evidence to get warrants to spy on him. It's truly remarkable and evil behavior.
I will never vote for a Dem again, and never support with $$$ or time the MSM. They are total treasonous frauds.
Absent a catastrophy, if the election is today, DJT has my overwhelming support and vote.
Right now, if you believe polls (which I think they are always heavily slanted in favor of the left), DJT approval is about where Bush and Obama's were at re-election: 40-50%. They both won second terms. An objective intelligent look at their performance shows that DJT is performing better than either Bush or Obama's first terms; but they are vastly different and not entirely fair to compare. Of course Bush faced 9/11/01, and invading two nations, and a crippled market and economy. He had the hardest first term probably than any POTUS since Vietnam. Obama's hardships were his own poor policy making and decisions - folks tended to like him because he gave them free stuff - which all rapidly crumpled by his second term when it all failed. In spite of him winning a 2nd term, he lost over 1000 seats for the Dems and should be viewed as a failed leader given all of the problems he caused.
The Dems are in free-fall and a mess. They have no platform. They have no leadership. Right now, they have no real candidate for POTUS. The names that are suggested are Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, the lawyer representing Stormy Daniels, Oprah Winfrey, Bernie Sanders, Corey Booker, Sen Gillibrand, that female senator who claims she's Native American, Jay Inslee, and a few others of equally poor merit. These people largely have serious problems that would prevent them from winning. None of those people can beat Trump today, given his performance.
Finally, if he maintains a steady mid 40% approval, history is on his side. Every POTUS since 1984/Reagan won re-election, except Bush senior (who should have but was cheated by Perot who stole his votes) and even sometimes with less than 50% popular vote (Clinton) or barely 51% popular vote. Bush losing was a total anomaly given his ~65% approval rating, and Clinton stole it in spite of only getting like 45% popular vote. Perot siphoned off an estimated 15million votes from Bush.
My only advice to Trump is to dial back the pointless picking of fights online as it does divide people he needs to win.
No second term for Trump
