Stucco over hay bales

Because its a fantastically cheap, strong, fireproof and well insulated way to build. I've been living in a stuccoed straw bale house for the last eleven years.

Note...I'm sure he is using straw, not hay, very different material.

Most straw houses look more normal than mine, just google "straw bale construction" and you will get hundreds of results.
