What if the US gov created a serious SHTF that lasted a month or two? Like maybe a contrived, nationwide grid-down scenario, or a contrived fuel shortage?
And what if, in this hypothetical scenario, FEMA was allegedly not able to come to the rescue?
And what if, in this hypothetical scenario, people could not get their EBT cards?
People reliant on meds would likely perish. People living in poverty might starve. (In fact, many middle-class and even wealthy people could die of starvation.) People in hospitals and nursing homes likely would not make it.
This would be a way to get rid of lots of individuals who receive public assistance.
Of course, the consequences of such a scenario could snowball way beyond what I've described here - I just wanted to get the discussion started.
BTW, in case it's not clear - I am certainly not advocating such a thing! At all!
I'm just saying I wouldn't put it past our government to pull off something like this.
Thoughts?
Would the US gov create SHTF deliberately?
