Picked up a couple .32 acp pistols

I bought 2 surplus .32s, a Beretta 81BB,and a Zastava Model 70 the Beretta had been shot very little, but handeled some, few scratches on wooden grips and very very slight wear on top corners of slide.
The Zastava I am 99.9999% sure had never been fired or carried perfect condition and having ran around 50 rounds through it,it has smoothed up considerably.

The Beretta is very well finished, every thing is typical Beretta smooth, single action trigger pull with my guage was 4.75 lbs, double action is 7.25 lbs and smooth as butter really not that noticable of differance just longer for double action, the sights are pretty good, white on front sight and white line at bottom of rear sight I like the sights,I was shooting around a 2" group at 12 yards with it,it is just a really nice well built little plinker, not big but with 12 round double stack magazine the grip feels good in my hand.

Now for the Zastava,it is finished a lot better then I expected, not even much for machine marks on inside,it is single action only, trigger pull is long gritty and hard,I was getting from 8-9 lbs with my guage the trigger also has some sharp edges that would probably bother some people. The magazine only holds 8 rounds and doesnt drop out, also has magazine safety,it would be easy to trim off little tab to eliminate the magazine safety if a fella wanted.
The grip is short but large enough around to get good grip,if I grip it high enough to get pinky on grip hammer bites me so I wrap my pinky under grip.
To me it feels a awfully lot like a 1911 in my hand, sights are sorta small and basic.

With all the Zastavas quirks I really like it I had to drift rear sight a hair to get zeroed in and at 12 yards was shooting about 1/2" high but I put 4 magazines (32 rounds) into a zagged hole you could cover with a quarter, and either I'm getting used to that awful trigger or its smoothing up some,I think a little of both.I may of shot it better because of that trigger it really made me concentrate on not pulling sights out of alignment.I'll put my trigger guage on it again and see if it is getting little better after a few more rounds.

If you like .32 plinkers either one is fun,the Zastava is around $50 cheaper, not near as smooth operating or comfortable in my hand as the Beretta but it is becoming my favorite of the 2.
