A little mousey question ?

I go through 2 to 3 mouses a year -- I usually buy the cheapest Logitech Wally has --- I turn them off if I'm away from the lap-top longer than an hour - but they all eat batteries like crazy -- when the scroll wheel starts getting dead spots - time to replace -- :rolleyes:

What are these two side buttons for ?



Nothing in the instructions - nothing in the mouse property's - and they do nothing ?
