Everyone will tell you something different. Whetstone, grinder, car window, ceramic mug, Sharpmaker, Worksharp, leather strop 2000000 times. Me? I go for the Worksharp sander. Quick, cheap, more than sharp enough for me, and oh my goodness did I say quick? All things are compromises though, remember that.
