First Hand Survival Accounts during Shtf Situations

I think we can learn a lot from people who have and/or who are still living under extreme shtf situations.

So this thread is dedicated to posting links to such first hand survival stories, as well as post by people on this forum, who have been through a shtf situation, be it an armed attack, weather related shtf situation or whatever...

If you post a first hand experience that you have lived through, please give us insight and advice on how you survived your ordeal, so we can all learn from your experience.
