I've already noticed some things are disapearing.
Some normal deals from large vendors are sold out.
Shoot just earlier tonight I was about to buy some M67 Yugo 7.62x39 from SGAmmo that was priced well but from the time I put it in my cart to about 15 minutes later when I came back to pay for it...GONE!
I think tonight perhaps a "mini panic" occurred in which people that try to get ahead of the panics bought.
BTW, if you are the person that got the last two crates of M67 tonight...I hate you. I had to pay more at another site...but whatever, I was buying the ammo anyways.
Now rant aside, here are my thoughts on buying ammo right now.
Buy the highest quality ammo for the guns in common calibers you own first.
Next, make sure your bulk ammo purchases bring all calibers you own over 1000 rounds. However, prioritize by buying the most common and cheap ammo first as it is the first to dry up. For instance get the 9mm, .45ACP, 5.56 and 7.62x39.
I remember in the last big panics the common calibers and cheap ammo disapeared BUT more expensive rounds that a lot of people don't have anyways like 7.62x51 tend to stay in stock at normal prices!
I don't even think I ever had a problem finding shotgun ammo ever in the last several panics.
These are my thoughts on the matter. Your mileage may vary.
