How you get out of an elevator

If you're not alone, you team up with someone else to try to go through the elevator's ceiling.

Bang very, very loudly on the sides of the elevator.

All in all, there isn't much you can really do apart from getting outside help. If you're concerned about the risk, which is very minute (how many people have died this way?), take the stairs instead.
