50 Gallon Water Heater

I had to replace my home water heater. I've kept the old heater, so now I have what is essentially a 50 gallon spare water tank.

Is anyone else using an old water heater for storage? Anything in particular I should do to make this work? I know its' only 50 gallons, but it's just sitting there so might as well find a use for it.
