1.For me my main goal is to get out of my financial ****, so that I can focus once again on my prepping, which has taken a major back seat the past 2 years. The past 2 years have been extremely stressful for me, as business has been bad.
So my goal for the next 6 - 12 months, is to become completely debt free. I want to pump all available extra money that I may get, into paying off and permanently closing my credit card accounts. I had 4 credit cards. The one I have managed to pay up in full last year and have closed the account. I now still have 3 credit cards. It is the only debt that I have, but it is a **** load of money that I owe them. I have already stopped renewing 2 of my credit cards 2 years ago, so I am not using them and I am only paying them off. But it is so damn frustrating that you pay and pay the required monthly payment each month and the damn balance is hardly going down. So I plan to pay extra each month, so that hopefully the outstanding balances will go down faster and any lump sum of money that I may get, Im gonna pump into those 2 credit cards.
The 3rd card I will keep open as an emergency card only, but want to keep a positive balance in that one.
The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life is to get so many credit cards. Sure it has been very helpful at times and was a saving grace when I needed money for major emergencies and I have never used it to purchase any luxuries, only used it to bail me out when business took a dive time and time again, BUT now I'm stuck with all this debt which is causing me way too much stress. So ja, after I reach my goal and close the 2 credit card accouts, I will never ever open up a new credit card account again, that's for sure.
2. My second goal is to be completely self sufficient in terms of fruit, veggies and herbs. This goal I know I can achieve within the timeframe, I am almost there.
3. My third goal is to buy a proper big greenhouse and/or finally start on aquaponic system, once I have achieved goal number 1, once I am debt free.
Goals for the next 6 - 12 months?
