Educate me on radios ???Have been researching portable radios , obviously AM / FM are self explanatory . What is causing my confusion is options like HAM - World band-
shortwave - Long wave . Are they just synonyms for each other, or all completely different ? I have a small Eaton radio with short wave , not user friendly at all. Horrible reception Short wave is totally inaudible and FM is bad too !!I am concerned with reception, would like some thing that sounds good.
