This year there is a bumper crop of acorns. In a few minutes a person can pick up a couple pounds of them. They are unpleasant to eat as they are(dry out my mouth but taste like a bland walnut)
Does anyone here have firsthand knowledge of how to process them so they are good to eat? Are they best stored in the shell and processed as needed or should they all be processed right away and stored that way?
