So i'm currently butting heads with my mother over which is a better investment for power outages.
1. Installing a manual pump in our well so we have water when the power goes.
or
2. Having an electrician wire the house so we can plug in the generator and run the oil, heat, water electricity ext. without extension cords.

I wont tell you which one i'm thinking of. I just hope I just get to be right. That's always nice. :thumb:
