Pretty self explanatory title.
I have never been forced to defend myself with a firearm, and I sincerely hope that I never even have to point a gun at someone.
However I would like advice from those who have and what they learned from it, whether you are a former/current LEO or just someone who had to defend his/her home from a break in.
Owning firearms is a right we all share, however it is also a great responsibility, and I would like to be as knowledgeable as possible with what do to both during and after an incident should I ever have to deal with one.
If any threads come to mind that have covered this please post a link.
