That's really cool, I have often wanted to leap through the TV screen and beat up Australian 60min reporters myself.

As for what spin they put on the story, it will depend on what they believe will get them the most ratings and hence be able to sell advertising space for the most money. Reporters don't report the news any more they provide entertainment so there bosses can make money.
