Rainwater collection system on a portable garage

I am starting work on my BOL and setup a portable garage from harbor freight.

I want to do rainwater collection off of it. The material is a standard tarp material.

I was thinking about how to do rainwater collection from this tarp. I was thinking about gluing a plastic angle strip to channel water to the front of the tarp where it will spill into a funnel attached to a 55 gallon blue barrel on a raised platform. The funnel I bought attaches directly to the blue barrel so I was thinking about having the angle strip just shoot water into it.

The tarp glue that I have found is called HB 66.
