Cut FAL barrel or Sell and buy shoter

I have a 21in DSA STG FAL with 21" barrel. I think it is just too long. I have a 18" DSA PARA FAL which is a much better length for me. The rifle seems to balance better with the 18 vs the 21. My question is should I sell the 21" and buy a 18" DSA FAL or just have the 21" barrel cut down to 18". Any thoughts or recommendation. I can buy a DSA FAL SA58 with 18" barrel for $1,162.43.
