Were I live there are a lot of places to gather fish. I currently carry a collapsible fishing pole in my BOB. I also carry one auto fishing reel. I have plenty of bank line to make my snares with but I thought if I had something that would give me more of a chance to caught food with little weight added to my BOB it would be a lot of help. So, today I order a 3 Feet by 10 Feet by 3/8 inches gill net. I know that some states do not allow fishing with a gill net but, during a SHTF situation I am not really going to be worried about that.
So, does anyone else carry a gill net or something that would maybe the rest of us have not thought of?
