Question #1

On the ballot this year is a referendum that may well ban bear hunting via trapping, baiting, and hunting with dogs throughout the entire state. The argument on both sides is fierce, and often stretching the truth to persuade voters on both sides of the argument. The debate has been contentious to say the least. My question to the residents of the Great State is this;

Is this referendum fair (As in does the question asked statewide a fair way to approach the banning of these time tested practices, or should the vote really be decided district by district?) for the people to decide or are the citizens of Maine at a significant disadvantage because of the population distribution in the state? I'm not asking if we should or should not ban bear hunting by these methods, so please leave those comments to yourselves.
