Putting our current house up for sale.

It's officially time for us to sell our current house in a suburban area and looking at either building a house or finding a house in the country with at least one acre of property. With all of the stuff that we've gathered over the years we are quickly trying to move and store or preps from our home in other places so when the house goes on the market and pics need to be taken of the inside, everybody and their brother doesn't see what we have.

With all that being said, I'm finding it difficult to feel as prepared while all of this is happening. Most of our stored food and supplies as well as more valued possessions are going to a rental unit a few miles down the road, firearms and ammo are being split up between family houses.

Anyone else make this kind of move? Any pointers, tips, or suggestions on what to avoid? Problems or issues you encountered either with new home buyers or sellers in regards to your preps? Any issues with having your supplies from your main BIL being spread around until it was all said and done?

Obviously, some things have to stay until the last minute. Some firearms are staying, some food and supplies etc. What about our BOB's and equipment? Stay in the home or split it up between home and storage unit?

Any help, suggestions, or general thoughts on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
