Value of guns off the books?

I need to sell a few safe queens because I'm not using them and do not see a need for them in the future. I do save the rifles and pistols needed for SHTF.

Question is when you do a private party sale of say a black rifle; Is a rifle in new condition more valuable once its off the government list. I would be selling to a private party who is a law abiding citizen with no criminal record. The rifle is in new condition. Would the rifle be worth more or less than when I purchased it due to being off the record. Not wanting to make a killing, I just want to break even.
