What star/planet is it?

I'm not into astromany,so no clue how to look it up,just curious.
I'm in swfl,and get up around 3 am...if I look due east,there is a very bright one about30 degrees up from the horizen.Seems to be by itself,nothing close to it.The moon was near it last week,but not this week...noticed it a few weeks ago.

I know its kinda vague question,just something I stare at when I go out for my coffee and cig.

I also see shooting stars most nights since I moved here,don't remember seeing many in other states I lived in.
