HELP! Trying to get rid of fleas!Guys, the you know what has officially hit the fan.... lol seriously though, I've been getting little hard pimple looking bite marks. At first I thought it was acne but I got them on my ankles. Wasn't sure what the hell it was and I started since I've gotten to my dads in Texas. I did research and thought chiggers but more evidence pointed to fleas. My dad said he's been getting little bumps like that for awhile but didn't think anything of it( a few every now and then). I put my hand on the rug last night when I picked something up and felt an itch on my arm. Sure enough there's a little flea looking bug(extremely tiny) and it left a mark that showed up today. Tried to capture it but when I lifted my finger it jumped and I lost him. My dad had a dog before he moved that slept on the couch ALL the time. Dog sadly passed away but my dad brought the couch he slept on. That's the couch I've slept on the past few nights. So, having said that how the hell do you get rid of these darn things? He moved here 6 months ago. Read they can hardly reproduce from a human host because they can't feed long enough but they're still here. Trying a carpet powder and vaccuming right now along with a ton of laundry. Any advice is greatly appreciated. These "itchy pimples" are getting annoying(I probably have 8-15 bites)
