What is your definition of love?

In another thread was a comment about the word love getting thrown around a lot, so I'd like to know what your own definition of love is. It can be from the Bible if that is your frame of reference, or in your own words from your own personal experience.

I believe it will be interesting to see the variety of what love means to each of you.
