There's a lot of talk on here about the good and bad of where we are in terms of numbers; taxes, costs, immigration, etc. This report may be of interest:

Look at page 346 and beyond. It has some interesting info about Immigration. No, we maybe don't want the great unwashed flood of indigent refugees. But it's really interesting to see how many top tech companies have CEOs that are 1st or 2nd generation immigrants.

Might be an interesting discussion here. Maybe not. But it's really interesting data. The financials... well... we have some issues. Seeing them like this makes it really stark. There's hope. But we've got some work to do.
