Stocks - need an education

I'm inheriting some stocks in the next 4 to 6 months. Is there any good reading materials out there on how to handle these?

Like an Idiot's guide to the stock market?

I set up a Fidelity Account and plan to try some low dollar (couple hundred bucks) buys but feel a bit blind going into this.
