I know a few people from the Survivalist Board have reviewed my first book and I REALLY APPRECIATE IT! If anyone has read my books, please write a short review on Amazon. If you're a fan of the genre, I can offer e-books for your reading pleasure in exchange for a review.
I have a couple of books out there on Amazon. Its been a little frustrating trying to get reviews. I've sent out over fifty books, both hard copy and e-books, with the offer that, in exchange for a free book, please leave me a review on Amazon. Less than half of those people responded with their review. :( (It is entirely legal according to Amazon rules although I can't post my book for free reading pleasure.)
My two books are, "Jingling Our Change" and "Nanny State Nightmare" with book 3 nearly finished.
It breaks my heart that the reviews are such a big part of the writing game. I've read accounts of people buying bulk reviews to get their book more exposure. I've also read accounts of competing authors writing slam reviews of their competitors. Such ugliness in a wonderful creative endeavor.
