Was experimenting with trap # 7 today wanted to ask ones more experienced what they thought of it ? It was relatively easy to build the one thing I did not like. Was the step stick at the base a little easy to misfire the trap.Was thinking of ways to improve on it like possibly an over hand not with thread or dental floss. To lash it to the vertical poles so it would be a little more stable.Another question that occurred was to some how bait that step stick on the bottom and what to use ?? Also with spring pole loaded traps what happen in windy conditions? Is it not realistic to use such in high wind? How many of these traps would I have to assemble to give me some thing to eat in a 24 Hour Period? I thought at least 12 If you Have another type of snare that is more simplistic or reliable would love to hear it!
