Will Your Roads survive?

Government barricades, are discussed, enemy raiders are discussed, booby traps are discussed. What I don't see discussions about are the more believable threats to travel. Land slides, fires, fallen trees, dust piles, debris, broken cars,

Currently there are 2,605,331 miles of paved roads in the US with another 1,375,486 miles unpaved. In some areas I think roads will be more susceptible to somethings than others. For instance. In Los Angeles, I'd guess the biggest problem would be cars, farther into the surrounding mountains we'd see rock and mud slides. The lack of a water system would probably see to it the trees in the area don't root to well. In Northern California mud, trees (both over and under), rock slides, mud slides, etc.

Do you have any contingencies?
