The Church- important or not?

This thread is for those who are believers in God, Jehoveh or Elohim. Not Bhuddah, Allah or any other god.

The Bible says in 1Ti 3:15* But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.*

The Church is called the Church of the Living God, the pillar and ground of truth. Why do some of you not want to be involved in a church if the Bible calls it the pillar and ground of truth?

Are all churches corrupted with worldly influences? Duh!!! Of course because we imperfect humans make up the churches. But are all churches not worthy of involvement? Are there any that do what their supposed to ie pillar and ground of truth?
