Trouble in the Phillippines

Mindanao has been doing this before WW1. We even worked with those Islamists during the Japanese occupation as resistance fighters. Spain, the US, the Japanese, and now the Filipinos have been trying put that island under some kind of order for well over a century. It's the reason we ditched the old revolvers and put the 1911 into service because we needed something to ensure those Moros stayed dead when we shot them.

Until we accept they never intend to give up and play nice this slow boiling problem in Mindanao is not ever going away.

No one wants to say it because we have no nerve for it anymore, but genocide is really the only answer there. It's just an inbred psychotic little island that demands independence so they have a safe place to base their global jihad, gun/drug smuggling, and high seas piracy plans. You've heard of failed states? This is a failed people on that island. Even the Somalis are a solid step up the civilized ladder. Time for bleach in the gene pool.

I think Duterte is an ego driven little tinpot Napoleon but in this case he's the right man for the job. Let him mash that pimple on the world, then pass him over to the hand wringers in the Hague, The will make big speeches how evil Duterte is and lock him up in one of those golf resort style prisons in Austria. Then maybe the Philippines can go back to being their happy corrupt little selves again.
