binary trigger for AK?

i seen a video on youtube of someone who claims to have made a binary trigger of their own for the AK, looking at the piece they made and looking at videos of people who have gotten the same results with other techniques it is clear that this is made possible by preventing the disconnector from coming fully forward when it catches the hammer, so that when you release the trigger it drops the hammer before the hook on the trigger itself is able to catch it.. the custom disconnector was shaped in a way that the typical "full auto" position on the AK safety lever was binary-mode

so, is this actually a legal binary trigger mod for the AK?
