The missus and I made the move to Tassie earlier this year and have just bought a 5 acre block with a nice house about 30 minutes out of Hobart in a little town called Lachlan.
I'm a pretty avid gardener so the plan is to set up quite a large permaculture kitchen garden to supply as much food for ourselves as we can and sell/trade the surplus.
