Is it el nino or la nina this winter?

Is it going to be a wet winter? Dry? Colder than normal?

????

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Last fall and winter were great here--moderate temperatures, only a couple of real cold snaps where the temps dipped down to 15F here two nights in a row. Not much below freezing the rest of the time, I think we had quite a few nights at or just below 32F. It was also fairly dry and sunny. I got a hell of a lot done last fall and over the winter and even into spring. I'm hoping for a similar winter this year.

I've always heard that years where there is a lot of Atlantic and Gulf tropical storm and hurricane activity, winters are colder and wetter than normal.

I am not as informed as I should be, but then again in the big scheme of life it doesn't matter that much overall. I'd just like to have an idea of what might be coming so I can arrange and prepare and plan accordingly. I have some major outdoor projects I'm waiting for cooler weather to start.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
