The closest I'll come to purchasing any prep items for a while

If you got it for less than it's usual price, you did good. Anything that helps you produce useful items in a self sufficient, economical manner is a great prep to have.

I've been using up some of my food storage as well. I've been slowly replacing some of the things I'm using up, but I think I'm going to make a big shopping trip soon. I don't want to put it off too long.
