boosting pressure in a long garden hose run

Need to run a garden hose about 250 feet, from a hydrant to a building where I'm going to be doing some concrete work.

Pressure at the hydrant is 50 psi. I'm wondering about maintaining some pressure and/or flow at the end of this long run.

Do they make in-line booster pumps, to boost pressure in a garden hose-type situation?

Would I put the pump at the beginning, middle, or end of the hose run?

Don't really need a large flow, just need to maintain 50 psi at the hose end.

Would a smaller hose--say 1/2 inch diameter---keep the pressure better?

Thanks for any advice!
