Bug Out Trailer

This may be common sense to you but I wanted to run it up the flagpole. Are there ideal dimensions for a bug out trailer? I would want something that will accommodate dirt roads - a little bit rough and bumpy, including snow and some water (a few inches), but no off road 4-wheeling. I was thinking that something with the same width as the towing vehicle would be ideal; tires contained within the body rather than exposed (to provide a little more protection and provide more storage area), same tire size as the towing vehicle (to make the issue of spare tires more manageable) which would also require "about" the same ground clearance as the towing vehicle. The tongue would mostly be enclosed with a V shape, for aerodynamics, and also to increase storage area. I do want stand-up height in the trailer, so that dimension is going to be taller than the towing vehicle.

Also, any suggestions on the hitch?
