Giant aggressive mosquitos in NC

I will be buying mosquito netting, never thought of this before. If my house is damaged in a storm I'll need a way to create an insect free environment.
Reports say they're aggressive and it feels like you were stabbed when they get you.

I wonder if they're related to Bill Gates' Zika fighting mosquitos, the ones they bred that were supposed to die off in the absence of antibiotics.
The idea was to treat an area with antibiotics and breed s mosquito that needed antibiotics to live so they could control where they went. They didn't consider that so many antibiotics are used that in areas that treat and release sewer waste there are antibiotics present in the environment.
