How Do You Think SHTF Will Occur?

In my opinion SHTF is nothing more than a statistical math problem.

Eventually, we are going to be nailed by a solar storm that will screw up every transformer on the planet -- it is only a matter of time.

Can damage be prevented using technology? Yes, but our governments lack the focus to make those changes happen.

For a fraction of the amount that they are using to fund our endless and meaningless "War of Terror", they could probably solve the problem of protecting our grid. However I don't have faith it will happen before it is too late.
