Couple hours ago in in the tub, covered in soap, about to shave....
Aaannnnd the radio goes off.

It's a call out, it's near me (relatively speaking.) Annnnnd it's a GSW.

Neighbors idiot son was visiting, and managed to shoot himself in the leg with a single action revolver at the kitchen table. "cleaning it" (I read playing)

I got there first by a good while, even after having to rinse off the soap, get dried and dressed etc.

Then I'm dumping out my kit (last pair of gloves... Fixed) etc.

I'll be going through my med kit tomorrow. (He should be ok... If he didn't damage the joint too badly.)

That would REALLY suck without a hospital.

Today when I ran the chainsaw a few min I wore Kevlar chaps.... Same thing.

Don't be stupid, and be ready.
