Container garden option

I went to HomeDepot to get a few paver stones and look for random garden supplies, maybe a plant or two.

I found 55gal heavy duty storage totes on sale and with a veteran discount was $15and change each. I picked up 3 as my new potato grow containers. I have actually used the W/Mart kiddie pools with good success as potato grows before as well. Most of my potatoes are already in so I may grow an extra sweet potato and use these for carrots this year and grow extra. it is just going to be hard to drill holes in them as they are nice.

It is funny because they are selling plastic grow containers and such that are a quarter that size for that price and more, and these are much more sturdy.

I have to do mostly containers and raised beds to keep the rabbits and nutria at bay. I also have to move them once or twice as season as the sun pattern changes being ringed in by ever greens.
