Cooking radishes

Maybe it is just my upbringing, but I never knew until a couple of months ago that you could cook radishes. My BiL, who is on the KETO diet, told me to boil them like little new potatoes. I was surprised how they tasted, and now have had them at least once a week...with butter and lots of black pepper.

Am I the only one that didn't know this? Proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks.
