Urban Backup to Wilderness Bug Out?

Interesting although much different than what I have studied, thought about, prepared for and actually have Lived the survivalist lifestyle since 1982.

IF people live in an urban / city then they probably should stay there and the gov't will take care of you. You will be a slave but will be cared for similar to those in prison are cared for even if you have a house, apartment etc. in a city. Some think those in cities are slaves now and the term wage slave describes that somewhat.

Such a Huge amount of problems living in a city in the best of times, unless one has plenty of money or gov't checks coming in and so on.

And, yes it will depend on the type of a SHTF or worse if staying in a city is wise or not. IF the trucks stop deliveries then the cities will stop since No food, supplies or anything much and people would starve and likely riot fairly quickly. Even if the checks or deposits to their accounts stop there would be riots etc. fairly quickly.

I have lived more than half my life in towns and a couple cities. Even in a suburb of Denver going to college for a couple years. Not too fun since I grew up in the freedom of a small town and I would Hate it now but I never will live / exist in a big city of more than 50,000 population. By next July I hope to Never live / exist in any town except going to town once a month maybe.

About forest fires is that they are a danger but depends on the location. My mtn land is high and I and others have cut down many dead beetle killed trees. Much more to do but IF in the slight chance of a forest fire on and real close to my land I do have the underground shelter if necessary. I also would bug out IF necessary.
