Cheez-It and Purple PCBs.

Just tried a handful of Cheez-It Original from the last shopping trip and the flavor was way off. Significant lack of salt crystals along with a muted sharp cheddar cheese flavor. There also seems to be something missing in baking of the snack crackers. Now I'm not a taste kitchen expert, but I can still taste and smell my current burps.

Travel back in time a couple of weeks:::

I had a PCB fabbed by OSHPark, known for their purple PCBs. The solder mask layer had terrible heat resistance compared with pre-COVID boards. Email with them and they stated that COVID requirements had made some changes to the process.

OSHPark is still a great prototype PCB service. My designs are pushing some of the limitations of their qualified specifications. Their current Purple epoxy is doing much better; but maybe not quite as good as pre-COVID.

Anyone else have a product experience that just seems... "weirdly different" than expected?

Cheez-It and strange Purple electronics... it must be a scene in a HollyWood horror movie...
