Hatch New Mexico Green Chili

HEB stores have been selling both mild and hot versions for about 70 cents a pound for a few weeks now.

Every year when they hit the stores I just buy a couple sacks of them even before I have a plan for them.

Just get the loot home and then have the happy problem of what I'll do with them.

I do the same when the 1015 onion harvest hits.

I realize produce is now an international thing but I seem to enjoy stuff a bit better when it is seasonal. It's like grocery Christmas.
